We have brought our Belgian Malinois to Dr. Munger and his staff since moving to Texas in 1994 for their CERF (now OFA) exams. In 2015, we had a litter born with 4 blind puppies. All are doing GREAT in their homes and are thriving. On 8/24/2017, our female "Pieces" had to have a double enucleation. She is doing so well and we are EVER grateful for the INCREDIBLE care of Dr. Munger and the staff!!! Thank you doesn't seem enough for all you have done for her and our dogs.
The staff at the Grapevine clinic do everything possible to give the best experience for you and your pets. My expectations were exceeded by the several visits we have had so far. The pricing is fair and their sense of urgency is impeccable.
Called to set up an appointment and they fit us right in as quickly as they could!
I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. All around amazing caring people. I am forever thankful for this business. Wawa and I love you guys!
The veterinarians at the Animal Ophthalmology Clinic have treated 3 of my Shih Tzus over 21 years. We are certainly indebted to these fabulous doctors.
The doctors and staff here are absolutely incredible. I brought my dog here for the first time over a year ago. He had glaucoma and had to have his right eye removed. Since then we have returned many times for prescription refills and check ups. Unfortunately, the glaucoma in his left eye became too much, and the other day we were faced with him losing his other eye. I am so thankful they gave us every option available, with both the risk and advantages for each. He had his operation today, and I am so glad they took such good care of him. Every person I have ever encountered here has a level of compassion and understanding that amazes me. Their total love for animals is obvious and their skill and care is beyond the best. My dog is recovering well, and I only wish I could go there myself if I had eye issues! My deepest thanks to everyone who works here!
My dog's regular veterinarian referred us to Animal Ophthalmology Clinic because she suspected that my dog might have cataracts. We had a very positive experience with this clinic. Check-in was easy and the appointment started on time. Our vet tech was very nice and gentle with my dog.
Our check-up with Dr. Munger also went very well! Dr. Munger is very gentle and warm with my dog. He was sure to make my dog comfortable with the exam (my dog also appreciated the little biscuits that Dr. Munger gave her!). He was very helpful with all of the questions that I asked, as well as his findings. I also really appreciated receiving a printout of the exam results.
If your dog has suspected eye issues, I would definitely recommend this practice! Thank you to the team at the Animal Ophthalmology Clinic!
Dr Munger is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this team and the customer service they provide. I was not able to make it to my Boston Terrier's first appointment, so Dr Munger called me (at 5pm on a Friday on a holiday weekend) to explain to me everything that was going on. He really knows his stuff and is incredibly thorough. My pup just had his eye surgery and Dr Munger again called me during lunch to follow up and answer any questions I might have. I would trust him with any eye issue and also trust that he will recommend the best and most cost effective treatment possible. I would recommend him to anyone and wish I could use him for every day veterinarian issues!
We brought our dog Buddy in, who was born blind and got glaucoma at two years old.... This facility was top notch, professional, and everyone there is super nice. It has been two years since his surgery and he is doing fantastic with the prosthetic they put in. I have been back many times to have them check his progress and they barely charge me anything. I HIGHLY recommend!
Run by ethical, caring, competent professionals who don't overcharge their patients by performing unnecessary surgeries or costly procedures while still providing the highest level of care. These kind doctors evaluated my baby, treated her corneal ulcer as we waited and sent her home with 2 kinds of eye drops and anti-inflammatory pills. All in less than 45 minutes and for $150. 2 weeks later when we brought her back for her follow up visit, the ulcer was completely healed and her eye was as good as new.
